Our Commitment to Integrity

The Confederation of Horticulture Associations of India (CHAI) is dedicated to serving as a trusted, independent, and ethical voice for Indian horticulture. Our Code of Ethics binds all officers, fellows, members, authors, and partner institutions to a shared framework of professional conduct.

🌟 ISO-9001:2015 Compliance: Adherence to this Code is integral to our quality management system, ensuring that all consultative, educational, and editorial outputs meet international benchmarks of credibility.

Scientific Integrity & Rigor

All fellows and members must uphold the highest standards of accuracy, honesty, and objectivity in research, publishing, and public statements. Plagiarism, falsification of data, and misleading claims are strictly prohibited across all CHAI journals and forums.

Transparency & Accountability

As an ISO-9001:2015 certified body, CHAI maintains transparent financial, operational, and administrative processes. Decision-making within the Executive Committee and peer-review boards is conducted with impartiality and fairness.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

Members, editors, and reviewers must promptly declare any personal, financial, or institutional conflicts of interest that could influence their judgment regarding awards, publications, or policy recommendations.

Environmental & Social Responsibility

Horticultural innovations promoted by CHAI must prioritize ecological sustainability, biodiversity conservation, and the socio-economic welfare of small and marginal farming communities.

Inclusivity & Mutual Respect

CHAI fosters an inclusive, respectful professional environment free from discrimination based on gender, region, caste, religion, or institutional affiliation. We champion equal opportunities for young scientists and grassroots innovators.

Reporting & Grievance Redressal

Any violations of ethical standards in publishing, award nominations, or governance can be reported in confidence to the CHAI Ethics Committee.
