Upholding Scientific Excellence

Peer review is the critical mechanism by which CHAI maintains the quality, integrity, and prestige of the International Journal of Innovative Horticulture (IJIHL). Our expert reviewers play an indispensable role in safeguarding the scientific rigor of published literature.

01

Double-Blind Anonymity

Reviewers do not know the identity of the authors, and authors do not know the identity of the reviewers. This ensures evaluations are completely objective and free from bias.

02

Evaluation Criteria

Reviewers assess originality, methodological soundness, statistical accuracy, relevance to horticulture, clarity of presentation, and adherence to ethical standards.

03

Confidentiality

Manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not share, discuss, or use any part of the unpublished research.

04

Conflict of Interest

If a reviewer recognizes the research work or identifies a conflict of interest (financial, institutional, or personal), they must decline the review immediately.

05

Constructive Feedback

Reviewer reports must provide clear, professional, and actionable recommendations to help authors improve their manuscript, whether the recommendation is acceptance, revision, or rejection.
